Austin Stereo 90 Day Warranty

Austin Stereo offers a 90 day warranty on service performed, and parts replaced.  If during the 90-day warranty period, the specific component or components replaced or repaired by Austin Stereo fails, we will repair or replace the electronic components at no cost to you. If however, any other component or components fail during or after that same 90-day period, the warranty coverage does not extend to those components or to any damage that may result.

If a tuner problem develops within the warranty period for a receiver that has been through our amplifier restoration process, we will attempt to restore proper operation.  Due to the fact that tuners rely on components that do not have new equivalents, we cannot fully guarantee tuner operation.

The 90-day Limited Warranty does not apply to failure caused by accident or alterations and is null and void if damaged due to improper use.  Examples include, but are not limited to, shorted speaker wiring, improper packaging during shipping, using incorrect speaker loading as defined by the manufacturer, and using equipment intended for home use in a commercial environment.  Warranty does not cover damage from lightning, power surge, exposing equipment to the elements, or humid and/or wet conditions.

Customers unable to return serviced equipment in person during the warranty period, are responsible for all costs related to packaging and shipping to and from Austin Stereo, and must contact Austin Stereo in advance for return authorization.  Items shipped without prior approval, or that were packaged improperly, will not be accepted for delivery.  We recommend having your equipment packed professionally.
